CHL Class Schedule

Class Begins 8:00am

We will cover knowledge and selection of firearms including:

• Basic Firearms Training
• Safety
• DPS Online Application
• Photos
• Use of Force
• Dispute Resolution
• Texas Concealed Handgun Law
• Knowledge of Law
• Restrictions and Punishment for violations
• Identification of proper signs
• Authorization For Release Of Records
• Knowledge Of Laws Affidavit
• Notary, Review, and Test
• Effective March 1, 2011 we will no longer do fingerprints (DPS Policy Change)
• Effective March 1, 2011 all fingerprints will need to be electronic through L1.

Bring your handgun in covered container, case or bag and leave it in your vehicle. DO NOT bring ammunition or handgun to the classroom, leave it in your vehicle.

Renewal Applicants Begin 1:00pm

Lunch- (this will be a working lunch) (Pizza Provided)

To Gun Range 2:30pm

At the range you will need 50 rounds "Factory Ammo." (NO RELOADS), Baseball cap, Eye protection and over the ear - Ear Protection. There is a $40.00 charge for using one of our handguns and ammo.

We will fire 20 rounds from 3 yard line, 20 rounds from the 7 yard line, and 10 rounds from the 15 yard line.
