Transfer information and payment
Please allow one business day after carrier delivery for CTGW to process your transfer and contact you. Bring a valid government-issued photo ID and, if applicable, your Texas License to Carry.
Regular firearm transfer: $30 with current Texas LTC, $35 without current Texas LTC
NFA transfers: $75
NFA trust engraving: $95
Storage fee: $35 per month after 30 days from first notification
Start your transfer online
Before the firearm is shipped, complete the CTGW FFL Transfer Notification form with your information and the seller's information. This initiates the transfer with Central Texas Gun Works.
1. Buyer information
Enter the customer's name, telephone number, and email address.
2. Seller information
Enter the seller or dealer name, seller email, telephone number, order number, and other requested transfer details.
3. Seller receives CTGW's FFL
The seller receives the transfer notice with the customer's information and CTGW's Federal Firearms License information. The customer does not receive a copy of the FFL license.
Before you ship
- Have the seller include your full name and phone number in the package.
- Use CTGW's current FFL document and shipping instructions.
- Wait for CTGW to notify you before coming in.
