Central Texas Gun Works offers Level 2 Private Security Bureau training. Level 3 initial and renewal classes are scheduled by phone.

Level 2 Private Security Bureau Classes
Level 2 • $105
This course fulfills the education requirement of the Texas Department of Public Safety Private Security Bureau Level 2 Security Officer license.
CTGW schedules Level 2 on the same dates and times as the Texas LTC class: 8:00 AM-2:00 PM.
Level 2 students attend the class day alongside the LTC group and participate in the range portion with them. The range activity is part of CTGW's class-day format; the Texas DPS Level II requirement is the Level II training course and test.

Level II training and testing
Texas DPS states that the Level II Training Course and test are required for non-commissioned security officers, commissioned security officers, and personal protection officers, subject to certain peace-officer exemptions.
