LTC Fee Waived with CPR Certification

AUSTIN, Texas - Texas House Bill 1078 passed both the Texas House and Senate and was signed by the Governor. The bill amends the Government Code and Transportation Code to waive the fees for a driver license or handgun license for certain applicants who hold a current CPR certification.
People who are required to have a CPR certifcation for their job are not allowed to waive driver license or handgun license fees.
You must be CPR certified by the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or another nationally recognized association.
